There is usually "room for improvement" in everything; however, I found this course to be well organized, concise, informational and don't have any suggestions for improvements. It has met my needs completely and I am looking forward to participating in all the Modules available.

Your trainings are always excellent, thank you. The voice accompanying the text has a much better tone than past trainings. The live chat is excellent and so fast!

All of the courses were helpful and taught me new things. I would like to apply the health and nutrition ideas mentioned in your trainings, to my current childcare program. I would like to plan more activities that involve the children practicing their counting and measuring by helping me prepare their snacks and meals.

The health and safety of childern is a very valueable subject matter. I can use the information that I learned in this module in a practal way each day. For instance, I used the suggested techniques in a classroom setting to eduacte childern on the dangers of fire. I also spoke with families about the importance of establoishing a fire safely plan in thier homes.

The trainer did an excellent job at providing me with the information I need to succeed in childcare. I will take all the training information I learned in these Modules and apply it to my everyday routine so that I can assure that each and every child in my care as well as the facility is safe.

Just what I needed! The area that we live in makes it hard to make it to those free trainings, but this is both affordable and convenient for me and my family. I can do it at my own pace.

I like how detailed the training courses were. they were defined very well and examples were given for further understanding. I also like how they highlighted some uncommon words and gave their definition to be able to thoroughly understand the discussion.

I feel I have the knowledge needed to be aware of signs of abuse. I know first aid, security procedures and safety concern for children in centers. I will use the nutrition information to help design a snack program that reflects the nutritional guidelines.

This past year I have struggled with the diversity conversations with my older kids. I really try to.explain that we are all different on the outside but the same on the inside, so that lemon activity will be fun for the kids. Also I believe my current center uses rewards as a bribe. And I hope to share with them how to use them to help the children. And not just bribe the children. I enjoyed these module the most so far.

I will use this information to help keep the children and the classroom enviroment safe. I now have the knowledge of what is safe and what is not for the children of the classroom.

I think it is a great informational tool to have these items discussed in such detail. I may know certain things about child care being a mother myself. However, you need to know specifics when it comes to a child care center.
It is always beneficial to hear how there are other ways of making the center that you work in a more safe and healthy environment. When you don't come in contact with a particular matter everyday you may not remember what steps need to be taken in this situation, such as if a child has head lice. Also there was a section regarding indoor safety of toys. It is mentioned what toys to avoid and that all crayons, markers, clay, should be nontoxic.
