3 Clock Hours of Early Childhood Education
It’s no secret that children are drawn toward sensory experiences. The explanation for why is simple; it’s how they learn! This course discusses the benefits of sensory play in the classroom as well as how to assemble an appropriate sensory bin for young children. 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Discuss the various elements of a sensory bin
  • Describe the importance of sensory activities in early childhood classroom
  • List several ways to handle the mess that accompanies sensory activities
  • Explain how to present sensory bins and how to interact with children during sensory play
